Maintenance and upkeep of water-cooled chillers
1、 Regularly check whether the voltage and current of the water-cooled chiller unit are stable, and whether the compressor operation sound is normal. If it is a semi enclosed compressor, the oil level should be checked regularly, and the normal level should be above 2/3 of the window. When the water-cooled chiller unit is working normally, a voltage of 380V and a current within the range of 11A-15A are normal phenomena.
2、 Regularly check for refrigerant leakage in water-cooled chillers: refer to the parameters displayed on the high and low pressure gauges on the front panel of the main unit for judgment. According to temperature changes (winter, summer), the pressure display of the chiller also varies. When the chiller is working normally, the high pressure display is generally 11-17kg, and the low pressure display is 3.5kg-5kg, both of which are normal phenomena.
3、 Check whether the cooling water system of the water-cooled chiller is normal, whether the cooling tower fan and sprinkler shaft are running well, and whether the water replenishment of the built-in water tank of the water-cooled chiller is normal. The water-cooled chiller unit should be replaced with new water every 3 months. If it cannot be replaced, please add rust remover.
4、 All industrial chillers should undergo system cleaning after six months of use, once a year. The main cleaning parts include the cooling tower, heat dissipation water pipes, and condenser to ensure better refrigeration performance.
5、 When the Oukelong brand water-cooled chiller is not in use for a long time, the circuit switches of the water pump, compressor, and main power supply of the cooling tower should be turned off in a timely manner. A water-cooled chiller unit requires a supporting cooling tower and circulating water pump connection to achieve cooling effect. To ensure the quality of circulating water, it is recommended to install a Y-shaped filter at the water source and add algae killing and descaling agents to the cooling tower to prevent impurities from entering the pipeline and affecting the operation of the unit.
6、 This water-cooled chiller unit uses R-22 refrigerant, please do not add refrigerant without authorization. If a fault occurs, please check the system according to the fault indicator light. If the fault cannot be eliminated, please contact us by phone.
7、 Note: Cleaning method for condenser pipeline
(1). Turn off the power switch. (2). Close the cooling water inlet and outlet ball valves. (3). Remove the front panel of the water-cooled chiller unit. (4). Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the circular cover plate, revealing the copper tube. Please use a copper brush to clean back and forth.
Please do not break the rubber gasket or insulation cotton, and do not use an iron brush to avoid scratching the copper pipe.
