Without the protection of the filter element, these foreign objects or dust will inevitably enter the air-cooled chiller system, causing damage to the machine and affecting normal production.
Regardless of whether it is water-cooled or air-cooled, attention should be paid to drying filters, aligning them for regular replacement. If maintenance costs are limited, filter screens should be cleaned and desiccants should be blown dry.
The installation position of the dry filter is mostly between the refrigerant storage tank and the expansion valve (or capillary tube) of the chiller, which can filter the refrigerant and the impurities and moisture that may be introduced into the refrigerant in the system to prevent ice blockage and various problems that may occur when moisture enters the compressor with the system.
Regarding how to clean and wash the dry filter, the chiller factory recommends using a high-pressure air gun for blowing, and it is best to replace it directly.
